We’re so lucky to be a part of PJ Library, a free program that, on a monthly basis, sends age-appropriate children’s books to families interested in, or a part of, the Jewish culture.
While many of the books we get teach our kids about the Jewish culture, some cover general topics, like the book my children received this month. It’s called 10 Things I Can Do to Help My World, and teaches children about all the things they can do at home and within their community to help make their world a cleaner, better place.
It’s a great reminder that little things can go a long way, and even if you’re small you can still you can still help out by turning off the water when brushing teeth or washing hands, turning off the lights when you leave a room, recycling and picking up garbage in your community.
